Chinese Calligraphy is a highly skilled visual art form. By the simple stroke of the brush with black ink on white paper, the calligrapher expresses his or her inner self. Once a stroke has been started, there can be no stopping or correction. Every stroke and thus every character arises as a self-manifest creation, unique in form.
